In making the video Watercolor, I project light and colors through water to create videos composed of abstract color fields that ripple & undulate from one color and pattern to another.  I control and manipulate all of the imagery by hand.   Using pieces of colored glass, plastic bottles, and water, I play with making pictures, achieving a range of different imagery from simple movements and materials.  This process driven exploration is reminiscent of how a child makes shadow images using their hands.  I mix the virtual medium of video with a tactile kinesthetic process, it is a painting in real time.
